The Free App Of They Day has been discontinued by Amazon and has since been replaced with the announcement of Amazon Underground. Without a Free App Of The Day to notify you about, I am shutting down Free App Notifier For Amazon. I want to thank all my users for their reviews and feedback. An update to Amazon App Notifier (now named “Free App Notifier for Amazon”) has been released on Google Play. This update includes the following changes: Some Users reported the new notification icon was hard to see. How about some different icon colors? Find them in the settings menu. Will add label to settings tab later. For more details about the app, please see my previous post for the initial 2.

In a previous post I mentioned the icon for Amazon App Notifier (Free App Notifier for Amazon) had to be changed by request of Amazon. Currently the icon that is being used can be seen above. I am no graphic design expert and put the icon together in just under a week. Even though the icon turned out well, I believe it could be better. An update to Amazon App Notifier has been released on Google Play. The update includes the following fixes: If the device does not have an internet connection on boot, wait for a maximum of 5 minutes for a connection before timing out and displaying device offline notification Change notification text on offline notification to “No Internet Connection” Hopefully fixed force close bug that occurred on some Android 2.1 devices

I personally am not a big fan of ads taking up space in apps and I am sure you are too. I want to give the user exactly what that want and that is it a quality app nothing more, nothing less.
